Il Beltpack wireless WBPXSP si basa sulla tecnologia DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications), nella banda da 1,9 GHz. Un display LCD a colori ad alta risoluzione fornisce informazioni testuali, segnali cue e mostra le funzioni dei 4 pulsanti. Con la stazione portatile wireless, un’antenna può servire 4 beltpack ‒ e ognuno di questi può essere collegato a 4 antenne.

Su ciascun lato dell’unità è presente un encoder rotativo, una soluzione pensata per la comodità degli utenti destrimani e mancini. Premendo gli encoder, il Beltpack WBPXSP può rispondere alla sorgente audio più recente; inoltre possono essere programmati per controllare altre funzioni, ad esempio il controllo del livello o la selezione del canale.

Tutti i dati della matrice sono contenuti nel dispositivo, alimentato tramite una batteria in dotazione.

Il set di cuffie/microfono (non in dotazione) si collega tramite un connettore XLR a 4 poli.
