È molto facile e rapido da utilizzare grazie al display OLED e al selettore a rotella (joggle) e ai 2 pulsanti per la rapida configurazione di guadagno e canale.
È stato appositamente progettato per garantire robustezza contro il rumore e l'auto-interferenza grazie a un doppio amplificatore di potenza e a un circuito speciale di "cancellazione dell'intermodulazione".
Il MTH410 beneficia della tecnologia LINEAR, che consente una suddivisione delle frequenze a passi EQUIDISTANTI senza intermodulazione.
È l'unico trasmettitore palmare in grado di cambiare la modulazione tramite software, funzionando come Wideband o Narrowband.
